Converting Ozi Track Into Route

Can you convert a track into route using ozi explorer, or at least a track point into way point.

one way of doing this is to view the route and track files in a text editor like notepad or word(simply save word files as txt files also works) etc. and change the file headers and the extension name to make the track file 'look'(use cut and paste) like a route file. you can also make point files using a text editor, the infomation you need to generate the files is in the technicial section of ozis help.

You can't do this within Oziexplorer but a program called GeoConv will convert an Ozi track to a route and reduce the number of points as desired.

while I was despirate for a method, I found one within ozi explorer, you select track points and save them as points, clear the screen from objects and load the saved points as way points.
