+tnfishdaddy
Stupid me. I went to Amazon last week and stuck a 60cs in the shopping cart but didn't order it. Got to work this morning and went to order it and it had gone from $370 up to $450. Ouch. Should have ordered it last week. Anybody else know of any good prices? Quote Link to comment
+Klatch
When I look at Amazon.com this morning it shows the price as $379.99. Quote Link to comment

+qtips
Mine says $449.99. I didn't check before today but that's what it shows now. Quote Link to comment
+Milbank
$449.99 for me and at the top of the page there is this message. Important MessagePlease note that this item's price has increased since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product pages. Quote Link to comment
+welch
somewhere, in a past thread, someone said you could get a better price buy logging out and deleting your amazon cookies. the explaintion was that if they think you a new customer they give you a lower price then if they know you repeatly shop their site.... +Team DEMP
For Amazon, when you put something in your cart, it might be tied to Amazon or a 3rd party. You need to do a search on the model again and see what it shows as the lowest price. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ronics&n=507846 shows it as $379.99 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...ronics&n=507846 shows is as $449.99 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...-goods&n=507846 shows it as $487.49 and I can go on and on. +Seay me
Yeah, amazon is a 'price grabber' type search engine for buying items on the internet. Quote Link to comment
Colonial Marine
Team DEMP, your first link is to a 60C not a 60CS. regards CM Quote Link to comment
+thealberts6101
You can get a 76C (no standstill compass, but with 115 mb internal memory) for $390 delivered from Newegg.com. I noticed the same issue with price jumps on other sites. Outpost.com was one of them....almost like they get a bunch in stock and decided to push them out? Quote Link to comment
jcc123
If you're not in a hurry you could wait. Amazon always changes prices for Garmin products. I believe you won't have to wait too long for the price to change again... Quote Link to comment
+Hemlock
Or you skip Amazon and buy it from GPS Discount for about $403 including shipping. I know from past history you'll also get a free T-shirt with your order Quote Link to comment

+GixxerUT
I say you wait for it to drop at Amazon, cuz they give free shipping, and if you sign up for their credit card, they give you $30 off your order. I got my Legend for 105 shipped. Quote Link to comment

+briansnat
it seems to fluctuate daily at Amazon. I've seen it as low as $360 (what I paid for it) and as high as $450. Quote Link to comment

I am looking at the 60cs also but cant make up my mind between that one and the Magellian color. The link to the website is www.gpsexplorer.com Quote Link to comment

+Alan2
You mean Amazon keeps changing their prices from moment to moment and day to day?? What a evolting situation that is. I thought they played it straight. Can't trust anyone anymore.! Quote Link to comment
+tnfishdaddy
Checked it today and Amazon has the 60cs for $399.94. I am not sure I can trust a business that raises and lowers their prices daily. Quote Link to comment

I thought they played it straight. Can't trust anyone anymore.! Amazon doesn't control the prices from what I understand. Amazon is like a search engine and gets prices for you from all over then provides links to buy the product. Quote Link to comment
+tnfishdaddy
I placed a navigation kit and the 60cs into check out. The navigation kit says it will be shipping from J&R Music but the gps doesn't say anything. Quote Link to comment
indybill
60cs on Amazon today $411. Guess you gotta watch it every day for the best price. Best price for new on eBay...right around $409-$411. Coincidence??? Hmmm. I'm looking for a CS now too so keep posting those good deals. (Funny how the 'ole budget gets blown outta' the water once you see some of the really cool features of these things ) Regards, Indybill Quote Link to comment
+Seay me
(Funny how the 'ole budget gets blown outta' the water once you see some ofthe really cool features of these things ) Regards, Indybill That's no joke. First you're like "I'm only going to spen 'this' much on a gps" then you see another one, then you think, well if I'm already spending this much then I can just spend a few dollars more....THEN you say well if I'm alredy going above my budget I'll might as well get 'this' model. Yeah, I was just going to replace my yellow with a legend, then it changed to a legend C then it changed to a 60c..... Quote Link to comment
Veeger
Google search "Garmin 60cs" and you will see sites that sell the unit both at the top of the result page as well as on the right side of the page. Prices range from $365 - $499. The only difference I have seen is what is included with the unit-- primarily the Garmin trip & waypoint CD being included or not. Always click the lowest price button or "add to cart button" to see the lowest price available. Good luck.... Quote Link to comment
indybill
Yeah, I saw the $365 one too, I think shipping was about $8 on that one; best price new I've seen so far. I believe it was megagps.com that had that price. I found the mapping software cheaper elsewhere though. Cheapest I found the city select v6 was $80 at mall24-7.com But, I just found a 60CS w/ city select v6, carry case, 12v cord, 2 car mounts, and instruction videos on ebay...for $385!! It should be here next week. It had only been on there for about 2 hours and had a 'buy it now' option. I guess sometimes it does pay to be a little lucky. Regards, Indybill Quote Link to comment
+cudlecub
I'm glad I have a bud at wal-mart that got me 10% off a 76 and was able to take advantage of the 50 buck rebate. It was less than the 60 series. Quote Link to comment

Perhapse you can tell us the sellers ID? Good Luck w/ your new toy! Quote Link to comment
