I don't know if there's a real active group in this area. Here is a thread to a meeting that was held recently. I wasn't able to attend, and I e-mailed the person who had organized it and asked for more information and/or to be put on a mailing list, but I never heard back. Anyhow, this may give you some names. I think you'll be able to see from the logs who attended the event.
