+Quoddy
When I want to add a photo to the forum (or whatever) I use THIS link to upload my photo. Right click on the photo and bring up properties. Copy the URL address. Paste it on your post using IMG. Should take about 30 seconds. Edited January 28, 2005 by Quoddy Quote Link to comment

+Poindexter
Quoddy Posted on Jan 27 2005, 08:54 PM When I want to add a photo to the forum (or whatever) I use THIS link to upload my photo. Where does this image go? Can we edit/delete our own uploads? Is there a limit on the number of images? I have deleted images that I uploaded to my archived cache pages. The link on the page is gone but if you type in the url they are still there. Quote Link to comment
+robert
Poindexter: Pretty sure it goes to your profile page(s): http://www.geocaching.com/my/ Click "Edit Profile" which takes you here: http://www.geocaching.com/my/details.aspx Then you can scroll down to your avatar, and under that is "change/edit". Click that and it takes you to a page with the uploaded photos.... That's the long way of using the same "shortcut" provided above. Quote Link to comment

+Poindexter
Yes, I am. I remember you came to our club and gave a talk on Geocaching. Youv'e changed your ID since then. We found one of your caches recently in Columbia. I hope to have a new cache placed as soon as the snow melts away. Quote Link to comment

Actually, I would love to know how to post a picture within the cache page description (now that it has been explained how to do it in the forums). I have the "body background" thing down, but have yet to attempt placing a picture in the middle of the description. Quote Link to comment
+Ladybug Kids
Here is sample html for posting a photo centered on the cache page listing. The width and height numbers may be adjusted to fit your desired image size. I use MS Front Page (yes, I hear gagging in the background ) to create my html code to paste on travelbug and cache listings, so the width and height values are calculated for me. MSWord also has a "Save As html" function that will convert your text and images to html. There are several other webpage applications out there that other people use and say are more user friendly, but I haven't checked them out yet. Just as with inserting a background, you need to have the "html" box checked on the cache submittal page: <p align="center"><img border="0" src="http://img.Groundspeak.com/cache/b18bd0e7-d680-4126-9a2e-757ed140eee1.jpg" width="534" height="150"></p> Hope this helps! +yodadog and corvus 2
Hope this helps! Awesome--yes! I'll give it a whirl (at the very least, it is a start)! Thanks so much, Ladybug Kids! P. S. Not "gagging" over MS Front Page 'cause I don't know the difference . Quote Link to comment
+GixxerUT
hope this isn't thread hijacking, but can anyone recommend good sites for uploading and storing pics? I have tried the free MSN Groups, and Yahoo Photos, but they resize the photos to lower resolution, and they also suck for linking the pictures to forums. Quote Link to comment

+Thot
Image Shack is a little friendlier than Photo Bucket. You don't have to join or do anything except upload your pictures. Quote Link to comment

+Ladybug Kids
Cache page backround~how do you do it?? The html code is: <body background="filename.jpg" bgproperties="fixed"> where filename.jpg is the url for the desired background photo. To see if your edits "took," you need to click on "view listing" at the top of the edit page after clicking on "edit listing." Quote Link to comment
