Virus Found In Plastic Boxes

Recommended Posts

I've just noticed that it's a year since I caught the geocaching bug.

What an excellent virus it is!

Despite being severely restricted by geography (only 18 caches in the whole "country" when I began),

I've had a fantastic time hunting down Tupperware and ammo boxes in five countries (I must get to Ireland and Wales this year!). Many thanks to all the cache setters,

without whom all this would not be possible (erm, obviously!).

To mark this great non-event, I’ve written a few words (8000 if you’re a numbers man) about Manx geocaches, and I respectfully point you in the direction of this modest piece of literature: in GeocachingToday.

Thanks for listening!

Thanks HH. Your contribution to the media will soon dispell the other Virus 'Miss Isle of Man Syndrome' For those who do not understand this last viris, keep a look on any maps of the British Isles that are published in the Media. We are often missing. Yes, we do exist. Thanks HH for keeping us on the map.

Happy caching.

PS. Our local newspaper has declared the island Isle of Women just for this weekend the 29th and 30th January 2005 and we had a free PINK wrapped Yorkie Bar with the paper to mark the occasion. Sorry HH, I know you are a fella but I ain't!

Reference number of caches on the I of M, there were only two when I started, and one of those was original indicated as being in Ieland. Whilst locating the first two another one appeared, which was duely located. On this first excursion into the realm of "Virus Found in Plastic Boxes" was escorted atround by a young lady whose eventually got the "Virus" and becameknown as`Cushag. :D:ph34r:

A month after HH started geocaching he introduced myself to this Virus...for which I will be eternally grateful

His energy, ingenuity and generosity of spirit is an example to all geocachers and in just this short period of 12 month has become an excellent ambassador in his travels for our pastime....well done HH

Bill.

P.S. he is not too shabby at photography or penmanship either!!
