gcas2006
I have been looking for the pages on geocaching.com for all the caches within Disney World (Orlando) Park. I was unable to find them. Can anyone send me a link to them or tell me how to go about finding them on the website. Thanx. gerG Quote Link to comment
+fly46
here's one in epcot nearest cache search (taken from the one linked above) That should help. Quote Link to comment
gcas2006
Thank you very much fly46. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanx for your help. gerG Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
Search tips: A keyword search on "Disney" or "Epcot" would lead to this result. So would a zipcode search, if you knew the zip for Disney World (like if you were making reservations and had the hotel address). Fly beat me to the punch, but that is how I got there. +fly46
That's the same way I did it.. Search by Disney.. Then I zeroed in on one that looked good. Lep, I'll let you handle the next one. lol! Quote Link to comment
gcas2006
THank you both. I looked online for 20 minutes for Disney's zip code. I couldnt find it. And I didnt realize that you could type in key words. Thanx once again. gerG Quote Link to comment
+Divine
WEll, this time the keyword search would've worked, but if the hider had named their cache A Giant Golfball Frenzy #238, it would've been more difficult to find out the suitable keywords to search with. Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
Here's an earlier thread on the subject. The other thing to do is search centered on N 28° 22.433 W 081° 32.832 and use the Map It! feature to get these results. Keep in mind, however, that no new caches will be listed there on GC.com. (See "commercial" and "private property"). As for the existing ones, were they placed with Disney©'s permission? I'd seriously think twice about finding one of these. I wouldn't want to be detained by a giant mouse or some gung-ho space ranger when my kid's begging me to ride the teacups one more time. Also, somewhere in the forum archives is an article about Disneyworld being shut down temporarily because of a Geocache that resembled a magnetic cell phone.... Quote Link to comment

Go ahead and find them, I did. Understand, however, that you are in probably the most muggle-filled locale on the planet. Even if you think nobody can see you, you are probably on camera, so be slick about your extractions. I may be mistaken because we have cached in Disneyworld, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris, but I think the magnetic phone cache was in Disneyland. Quote Link to comment

Finally found it. It was Disneyland and the park was not closed down. Tomorrowland opened thirty minutes late. Its too bad. That was a great cache. Quote Link to comment
+The Fraher Family
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...43-91f92cc36f56 Than do a search for caches nearby. Quote Link to comment
+TrendyMagic
Sad news for all looking for caches at Walt Disney World in FL, Someone at Disney has removed all physical caches in the past week. Well one is still there as of today, but not sure for how much longer. Quote Link to comment
+balletactor
I've been using sites like Multimap and such to find the Lat/Long of wherever, and then using that as the cetral point for finding. I've been doing that with some in Virginia Beach and Williamsburg - knowing I'm going to be there and seeing if there are any about. Of course, this is probably a long way of doing it, but it works for me so... Quote Link to comment
+Hydnckr
I found 12 caches on Disney property, it was a fun time. Use Lake Buena Vista in the USPS zip search. All Disney properties are in that zip. Quote Link to comment

Man, I was right there, and never thought to look up disney caches. I probably leaned right on the spot the cache was hidden at. Quote Link to comment
+sTeamTraen
I found 12 caches on Disney property, it was a fun time. Use Lake Buena Vista in the USPS zip search. All Disney properties are in that zip. Have I missed something, or is Disney property now public land ? (I think it's cool, but I'm amazed they would get approved.) +orome
Consider benchmarks on property - Disney can't remove those to annoy cachers. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
Pity. Lake Todo Estrella was one of my faves. If someone wouldn't mind emailing me the name of the disney staffer who made contact regarding these, I would appreciate it. We have a few contacts within the company and I would like to follow up.
