+welch
I flipped there some of the geocoins threads, but didn't see reasoning for this. so I thought I would ask. Why does it seem like all the geocoins are either 1.5 or 2 inch diameters? Is it because the artwork comes out good at those sizes? do many of the companies only do those sizes? Costs per coin? Im not complaining, if I had a coin made I think i'd do the same, but wondered why. I guess maybe I'm asking: For those that have had geocoins 'professionally' made, why did you go with the size you did? Quote Link to comment
+Nurse Dave
There are some companies that only do them that size. Others will do them in many sizes, but the cost goes up as the size goes up. The Idaho coin that's coming is totally different than any of those out already. I think it's just a nice size and most people don't see a need to pay the extra just to make it bigger.
