+Skully & Mulder et al.
Q, our Milk snake has been missing for about 2 months. Believe it or not - and thanks to Moe the cat - I found him on Sunday (1/16/05). I know this has nothing to do with caching ... but it is the middle of winter. Quote Link to comment
+BlackBuck
Thats kinda vague,Did the cat find a live or dead snake? My personal best for a missing pet was three years .It was a hampster I had as a kid that escaped from his cage, three years later Rusty my trusty Poodle caught it in the back yard and killed it .This happened on long island, where he spent the winters i don't know but he was much bigger than when i lost him! I know what you mean - my worst fear was that the cat would bring me a dead snake - kind of like a trophy. This is what happened - the cat was sitting in front of folding doors that conceal the washer & dryer from the rest of the basement. I thought that was strange since he never sits there. I opened the doors and moved some stuff around and found him, alive and well, under a trash basket! Quote Link to comment

+fosterbass
I'm sure glad I didn't know he was missing. Even though I have no idea where you live, knowing he was missing would have kept me awake staring at the floor all night. Quote Link to comment

+The BeeGees
Why is it called a milk snake? Does it have udders? Milksnakes are so named because they are often found in barns with the cows. Farmers used to think the snakes fed on milk from the cows. They really just like to eat the rats and mice in the barns. Quote Link to comment
