+ValleyRat & TillyMouse
We're planning an event for our fledgling Valley Geocachers group and need to post an event cache. How about a short tutorial on that subjet -- or point me to an existing one. Thanks Link to comment
+fly46
Umm? Make a cache page, except chose event cache for the type? Seriously.. Pick a place, get the cords, make a page... Same as you would for any other type of cache. Link to comment
+Team Perks
In posting your event, note that it most likely won't get approved if it's less than 2 weeks or more than 3 months away. I found that out the hard way. If you are interested in seeing some examples, you can go to the GC.com home page and scroll down to the "Upcoming Event Caches" page, which also has a handy link to the Event Calendar. +Prime Suspect
Also, unlike a non-event cache, the Date you set should be the date of the event, not the date you're submitting the cache. Link to comment

+ValleyRat & TillyMouse
I think I've got it now, but my 75-year-old brain had a hard time there for a while. Link to comment
Jeremy
I think I've got it now, but my 75-year-old brain had a hard time there for a while. Not a problem. I can see how it would be confusing to create an event by "hiding" an event cache Link to comment
