j9cache & Mike(j9+M)
Just wanted to ask about the should be archived note. What happens after this is chosen? Does it go to the local approver? I have been watching Pentagon Hill since I went looking for it. I sent a note a note to owner with no response. The logs indicate it needed attention since Halloween. Should I do the 'should be archived' button? Quote Link to comment
Kit Fox
The owner has not logged on to GC since May of 2003. It appears that he may be out of the game. You can make fixes to the cache yourself, so others can enjoy the hunt, or recommend archiving based on the lack of maintenance and no owners replies. When you log a SBA, the approvers get a copy. +j9cache & Mike(j9+M)
Well, I'm not near anymore, I was just visiting the area. I guess I can give it a few days, perhaps someone near may read this thread and decide to take it over. It is in an interesting area. If nothing is done by the end of the week, I will write an SBA. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
tirediron
It does sound like a prime candidate for an "SBA". You certainly don't need to live near it to post that. Quote Link to comment
j9cache & Mike(j9+M)
I posted in the SW forum looking for adopters. Quote Link to comment
Team Perks
Well, the cache is still there, albeit in poor shape. I'd say "no" on the SBA note for now--that just relegates the cache and its few remaining contents to geo-trash, which will drop off the active caches page and thus remain there indefinitely. Hopefully one of the locals will step up to the plate and replace the cache...or remove the cache and THEN recommend archival. Quote Link to comment
