The Forester Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along. Sounds good to me. Sounds like the very essence of the inclusiveness of geocaching. Well done, HH. Cheers, The Forester Quote
G Force Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Sorry I will not be able to make it as I'll still have another week to do offshore. I do keep a lookout for the events north of the border and hope to make it to one. Have a good time as you all do with the the Sgdo. Quote
Firth of Forth Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Bumping this event up so that it's not forgotten about. The next SGDO following this is likely to be a weekend event on the Isle of Bute in April. Edited January 23, 2005 by Firth of Forth Quote
Haggis Hunter Posted February 7, 2005 Author Posted February 7, 2005 Well, you would have thought with this thread dropping all the way down to the 4th page of the forums, that no one was interested in the event. Well you would be wrong, as here is a list of the people that have said they are coming to the event, first part is those that have gave names and their name tags are made – Firth of Forth & Myself roolku x 1 Team Ullium x 2 Tyrog x 3 Team Incredible x 4 Team Bostik x 2 Snaik x 1 Wildlifewriter x 1 Team Clova x 3 Findingdory x 1 Perth Pathfinders x 2 jelly_beanie x 1 Now the people that have said they are coming but I still have to find out their first names! Allieballie x 3 Edinburgh Walker x 2 Iamamoose x 3 magicwebby x 2 Scareywebby x 2 Thomsonkane x 2 Clydevalley x 2 Karl60 x 1 Considering this started as just some drinks in Edinburgh, it certainly looks as though it is going to be well attended. Lets hope more people come forward, to say they are coming. So far the count is a total of 42 people can we make it to the 50 mark?? Cheers Haggis Hunter Quote
Firth of Forth Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 You can add FeeBz and Seiken (going to twist their arms to come!). That makes 44. Quote
Haggis Hunter Posted February 9, 2005 Author Posted February 9, 2005 Wildlifewriter has kindly donated prize vouchers & presented an essay competition for the event. good one Wlw Quote

Papakas Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Oh, and you might feel like doing some caching as well but the sort of thing that HH advises usually takes priority!! Quote
kewfriend Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 by some awful quirk of fate I shall be in Edinburgh that weekend ....... could the geoscots cope with a geosoutherner ..... for a moment or two. Quote
Firth of Forth Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 By all means!! The more the merrier - and we already have an Irish rep coming. How about a Welsh as well?? You will also find that not all of us are actually of Scots descent; a pretty cosmopolitan lot. Quote

Haggis Hunter Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 The caches for the day are now listed, they are being kept temporarily disabled, just so that peope know they are not there yet. Even if they are still showing disabled, they will be in place by 09:30hours on the 26th February. Quote
Haggis Hunter Posted March 6, 2005 Author Posted March 6, 2005 Still waiting for McKryton to log his find, and whoever picked up the Ewok Bug TB, can you log it out of the event please? Once the above is done I will be archiving the page. Quote
