WH
Try sending an email to contact@Groundspeak.com Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
Just go away. No, I'm really being serious. You already have a "history" here with your forum posts, so they probably wont remove your account. Just walk away and dont look back. If you want to make sure nobody ever contacts you again, just log into your profile, change the email to something that doesnt exist (make sure u enter your password or it wont take effect) and your done. Since the email addy doesnt exist, you won't be able to re-validate your account. Quote Link to comment
+dunos
For email addresses that don't exist try: rat@example.com All example.com emails don't exist. Infact the entire domain is run as an example and is perfect for using as an example when you don't have a real domain name to use. Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
That was pretty basic. You can practice here:forum geocide. There's even a form to fill out. Edited January 9, 2005 by wimseyguy Quote Link to comment
+DeskJocky
Yea, but as many people have shown, forum geocides don't always last. Quote Link to comment

+New England n00b
As the title asks... how do I unjoin this site? Rat Why? Sometimes it is better not to ask. Quote Link to comment
+trippy1976
I think the geocide form should be stickied. Mopar's directions are going to be your most productive route. Quote Link to comment
+El Diablo
It's actually done in a democratic way....I make a motion that we allow RenoRat to unjoin the site. Second? El Diablo Quote Link to comment
Mushtang
That was quick. You only joined on Dec 27th and you don't have any finds. Did you accidentally pay for a membership for your sock puppet account? Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
I removed your email reference to your account. You are effectively "unjoined" Quote Link to comment

Pantalaimon
I removed your email reference to your account. You are effectively "unjoined" Well, now, that was off-topic. He asked how to unjoin the site, not whether you would help him unjoin. Quote Link to comment
+as77
Exactly. He didn't state he wanted to unjoin, he just asked how to do it in case he wanted. Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
Exactly. He didn't state he wanted to unjoin, he just asked how to do it in case he wanted. So, what's the big deal? *IF* that's the case, when he logs back onto the site, it will ask him to re-validate. To do that he will have to re-enter his email address. Not exactly the end of the world. Quote Link to comment

Not exactly the end of the world. Wasn't it you who said that if the e-mail address is not valid, it's not possible to re-validate? Anyway, it's no big deal, he doesn't have any finds so he can just open a new account if he wants. Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
Wasn't it you who said that if the e-mail address is not valid, it's not possible to re-validate? I meant that he would never get the email with the link to validate. He also won't get any notifications or other site related emails. If he logs into his account and adds a valid email address (Like I mentioned in the last post), then he will receive the email with the info needed to validate his account. It sorta sounds confusing, but it's really not (I don't think). Edited January 10, 2005 by Mopar Quote Link to comment
