Yup - use it all the time. An awesome program! Highly recommend it - you can calibrate and use virtually any maps or images with it.

I also use it, including OziExplorer 3D, which generates 3D models, that give a better perception of what lies ahead.

what maps have you downloaded?

Oziexplorer is a great program. I use it primarily for working with topo maps (drg's) which are available for free for many states including Utah. Go here for a clickable map for downloading USGS 24k quads for Utah. These will import and calibrate automatically in Ozi.

For an easier way to get the name of the quads you want before going to the link I gave you would be to go here first. Just click your mouse pointer on the map in the area of interest and it will zoom in with each click until you get in close enough and it will give the names of the quads.

Do you need special maps for the 3D version? If so where do you get them?
