Keith Watson Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) I am thinking of coordinating a Brampton area CITO event in April. Post if you are interested in joining in. Just trying to get a feel of how many people would be available in this area. Edited January 7, 2005 by Keith Watson Quote
Swifteroo Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Would this be on the official 14th/15th? I might be convinced depending on if I am still alive after COG Spring Fling on the 2nd! Calendar permitting I am sure I could get Earthquake to join in as well. I think I have been to Brampton once or twice! Quote
Keith Watson Posted January 7, 2005 Author Posted January 7, 2005 It will actually be on April 16th, 2005. Quote

Olar Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Hey, how could I possibly not be in favour of that seeing as I live in Brampton. You can certainly count me in Keith and if I can be of any assistance please let me know. Cheers, Olar Quote
chris-mouse Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 You can add me to the list as well. Anything else I can do to help? Quote

jeff-trex Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Cool a CITO event in Brampton, well count me in assuming I am not working. You can put me down for a tenative. Quote
Puddlemaster Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I hope to be able to attend, work schedule permitting. Quote
Keith Watson Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 I talked to the mayor of Brampton, Susan Fennell, and she thinks it is a great idea. One hurdle down. She has forwarded me on to the clean city committee to coordinated with them. Will keep you updated as it progresses. Good to see people expressing and interest in coming out. Hopefully we can get a good turn out and put in a good showing to let everyone know the good we can do. Quote
Geofellas Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 It will actually be on April 16th, 2005. Earth Day Canada is April 22nd 2005. Even if you can't hold it on the actual day maybe could link it in in some way since the aims are in line. Quote
Keith Watson Posted January 26, 2005 Author Posted January 26, 2005 OK, the page has been approved. Looks like CITO - Brampton 2005 is a go. Quote
Keith Watson Posted February 8, 2005 Author Posted February 8, 2005 Took Ryan Giles, Recreation Assistant for the City Of Brampton out geocaching last night. He enjoyed it very much and agreed that Loafers Lake is a good candidate for cleaning up. I will provide more information as I get it. Quote
