+ValleyRat & TillyMouse
Today was a cold (50°) rainy day in the Rio Grande Valley; we spent it packaging our swag items. Folks who have been Geocaching for a long time probably already know about this routine, but it's new to us. We retrieved our old Seal-A-Meal machine from the storage building and now use it for waterproof packaging of small/medium swag items. If we run out ofe regular Seal-A-Meal bags, we just use cut-down baggies or ziploks. Quote Link to comment
+LthrWrk
I have been vacuum sealing my sig item along with a card. The containers up here are more wet than dry for the most part. Quote Link to comment
+Q2XL
50 degrees is cold??? It was -22 yesterday and a balmy -11 today, or as like I like to call it, Norwegian summer. I haven't seen the vacuum seal thing up here yet...but a lot of ziplock bags. If someone had one of the machines it would be the way to go. Stay Warm! Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I was using my vacuum sealer to seal trade items that could be damaged by water until the darn thing broke. Quote Link to comment
