Toast & Figs
I am new and I have a question. I have been searching the GC.com web site for the "guidelines" used when people set their difficulty and terrain settings. I cannot find anything that references this. Obviously I am not looking on the right pages. Can someone kindly direct me to a reference explaining what constitutes a one-, two-, three-, four- or five-star difficulty? I have a general idea, but I would like to see what the "official" designations are, if there are any. Thanks for the info. Link to comment
Jeremy
1 - easy 5 - hard The rest are just in-between. Any description for each rating is arbitrary and open to interpretation. Link to comment
+Markwell
Part of my FAQ While not "official" these have become the "agreed upon" standards and were set back in summer of 2001. Edited January 4, 2005 by Markwell Link to comment
