DuncanClan
Does anyone know how to (if possible, thought it was) to import waypoints, i.e. .gpx or .loc, into Microsoft Streets & Trips 2004? Must be some conversion you have to do, and I'm not seeing it. Thanks for any help! DC Quote Link to comment
Stunod
The easiest way is to use GSAK. I use GSAK and MS S&T to give me maps like this: Quote Link to comment
embra
Right you are; a conversion is needed. You can use GSAK or GPSBabel to convert your waypoints to .csv format, which can then be imported by MS Streets & Trips. Edit: uh, Happy New Year, Stunod. robertlipe
Better yet, use GSAK or GPSBabel to convert to Streets & Trips format which will give you clickable icons. See: http://www.gpsbabel.org/formats/s_and_t/Im...Trips_2003.html Quote Link to comment

PDOP's
The short version is that you'll need separate GPX files for each type of cache which are then converted to CSV files and imported into S&T one at a time. In S&T you can import custom symbols to represent each type of cache (CSV file) Edited January 2, 2005 by PDOP's Quote Link to comment
WascoZooKeeper
As far as the icons go . . . in the GSAK installation directory is a folder called "images". There are a number of files named cacheX.gif , where "X" is a different letter depending on what cache type it represents. (For example, cacheT.gif is the symbol for a "traditional" cache.) You need to convert them to .ico or .bmp files first. A 16x16 bmp seems to work well. Open the .gif file in a photo editing program that will allow you to "save as" a different file type AND to change the size as well. Then you can click the arrow on the pushpin button on the toolbar and import your custom images as pushpins. Quote Link to comment
