cpnowak
Is it ok to revisit a cache you have been to just to pick up a tb? I want to get a geocoin and one popped up really close to me. Can I go back to the cache...just leave a note saying I visited, and then log the tb pick up? Thanks for your help! cpnowak Quote Link to comment
worldtraveler
Yes, it is okay (and common practice) to do as you said. Quote Link to comment
New England n00b
I've done it, no complaints yet. Claiming it as a find - that's a little not-so-right. Quote Link to comment
cpnowak
Do you mean claiming the cache find? Because I wouldn't log it I would just post a note. Thanks, cpnowak Quote Link to comment
Africard
Hope you already got it!!! Quote Link to comment

Radler
Related Question: If I own the cache the TB was placed into, is it OK to get it out and bring it to some other cache?? Of course I would log a note to the cache and the travel bug log as well. Quote Link to comment
Escapades
I don't think anyone would complain. Most TB owners like to see the movement. Mike Quote Link to comment

The Leprechauns
I especially enjoy returning to a favorite cache for the purpose of retrieving a TB. Since my favorite caches tend to be a bit out-of-the-way, this usually helps the bug greatly, since it's been sitting there for awhile waiting to be rescued. Also it is cool to see the cache at a different time of year, or to marvel at how much easier it was to get there now that I'm in better shape than when I was a newbie. Quote Link to comment

cache_test_dummies
What if the TB is a Yellow Jeep - is it still ok to get it from a cache you've previously found? Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
yes Are you being serious? Are there really yellow jeeps still to be found? I thought they went by the way of the Dodo bird. Edited February 10, 2005 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment

Team Silver
There is a YJTB here in Charleston, SC but it is stuck in the cache "Gator Bait", not a very visited cache due to the requirements. Maybe it is safer here. That way the cheap cachers that keep the YJTBs cant get it unless they are desperate?! Quote Link to comment
KolarBear
I have been wondering the same thing! I thank you all soo much for your input! *Runs out the door with GPS in hand and a tear of happiness in his eye* -KolarBear Quote Link to comment
