+TotemLake
I have a peer going on vacation next week so won't be able to take the day off. I may be able to meet up for drinks and dinner though! You have a peer. And I thought you were peerless. Well she can't do what I can, and I certainly can't do what she can, and that makes us a great team together. However, we're ramping up our season and I have an issaquah office in process of opening up and she's on vacation until Friday. I can't take the day off as a result of all that. Anyway, give me a day or two and I'll have a choice of eateries in Bellevue we can work with. Edited January 21, 2006 by TotemLake Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
Is anyone from the South End (Federal Way) heading up for the caching on Thursday? If so let me know, I have something to get up to kealia and would appreciate a messenger. (sshhhhhhhhh don't tell him it's a surprise) Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
Anopther option for dinner/drinks is Appleby's at Factoria. Good food and full bar - and not that far from kealia's hotel. Quote Link to comment

I know exactly where that is, too. Turns out teh Embassy Suites were booked so I'm not at the Courtyard in Bellevue - FWIW. Looks like I'm setting my PQ for Vashon Island! So, who's in for Thursday? Yeah, it looks like the Embassy Suites have been remodeling for the last few weeks. They probably don't have the usual number in service. They have free drinks. Too bad it wasn't Friday. Have fun. +WeightMan
I'm in for both. Which ferry should we take again? I would suggest we meet 20 minutes beforehand. That should give us time to get organized and down to the ferry dock. It is only about two minutes from the parking I suggested. Quote Link to comment
+Kealia
How does the 8:25 sound? Meet at 8:00? My flight home is at 5:20PM so the 3:25 back would be the latest I could catch. Sounds like fun! Quote Link to comment

Cent5, I'm planning on my van (seats 7) but I'll know for sure later today as I'm taking it in to have a leak fixed - unless you guys want to swim to the caches! The recent rains sure found their way in. Wed - 6:30 sounds good at Applebee's. Thurs - 8:00 sounds good, that will give us time to do them all and maybe grab lunch somewher. Quote Link to comment

However, I have picked up a TB which wants to visit various AL ball parks and needs to get out of the state, so at the vary least, I'll be there Wed. night to hand it off. Quote Link to comment

Problem with that is I must have a car to do my job between 5 offices thus my need to use my wife's car. That puts me at odds with recreational things when it comes time to pick up my wife from work. For the moment, I must put down my toys and take care of the business at hand. Quote Link to comment

+NSUE
Ok...I just had to butt in here where I have no business being. As I 'work' directly behind the Factoria Cinemas and used to walk past the construction nearly everyday on my way to QFC to grab lunch. Godfathers was leveled except for 1 wall (I don't remember which one but I speculate that it had something to do with building permits, a new building vs a remodel???) and rebuilt as Applebees. Was pretty fun to watch the process on a daily basis. Wish I would've know about dinner last night, I would have tried to make it. FYI...it's right across the street from my cache, The Man with the Golden Cache. Or as someone pointed out...it's more yellow than gold... -NSUE Edited January 26, 2006 by NSUE Quote Link to comment

+Kealia
Hey gang. Currently it looks like I'll be in town for a meeting on 3/16 (Thursday). I'll be coming in Wed night around 8:00PM so a bit late for dinner/dinks and my meeting in 8:00-1:00PM on Thursday. I'm only going to have a few hours after that meeting to kill so I'm thinking about doing some urban (read: keeping clean) caches this time . Anybody want to recommend some good urban caches? I'll be in Bellevue but don't mind heading to downtown Seattle if warranted. I've already done most of the micros in/around Factoria. Thanks for any suggestions. Quote Link to comment
+WeightMan
Although I have done all of these, my Lake Washington Boulevard Bookmark list has several in Seattle that fit your requirements. Most would fit in the clean category. Quote Link to comment
