TheEdge
Now it appears that it wasn't the addition of the graemlins, but the act of clicking on the edit delete feature! "Do What You Can, Where You Are, With What You Have." Link to comment
TheEdge
That did it! So I guess I'll have to post then edit! "Do What You Can, Where You Are, With What You Have." Link to comment
Mark 42
I think you can delete these posts. I'll delete this one if it is all that remains (if I remember to check back... you can email me if you want me to delete it.) Hukt un fonix werkt fur mee Link to comment
TheEdge
Hi Mark 42, I was going to delete the whole thread, but then thought it might be of use to someone else trying to do a tagline. But I will delete if you think it's too much. Can you answer the question as to why the HTML doesn't appear until I click on the edit icon? Let me know if you want to delete. Thanks T H EDGE "Do What You Can, Where You Are, With What You Have." Link to comment
Mark 42
Not sure why it gave trouble. Did you use the </> button? If you were adding it into your tagline, then you are in uncharted territory, for me. I actually am new to this BBS software, but it has similarity to others I have used. But I am still familiarizing myself with it. Maybe just delete most of the messages and write up a summary of what you tried, what worked, and what didn't? I'm no guru or anything, I was just sorta curious why you didn't delete it after you found out what you wre looking for. Hukt un fonix werkt fur mee Link to comment
Lone Duck
To clear up confusion for otheres - you do need to log out and them log back in once you have change your signature options. Otherwise, the cookie (with your tagline and other options) that's stored on your computer will still have the old information in it. +TheEdge
I've tried deleting most of these messages but I get an error message saying that the forum does not allow deleting of messages. Very strange. "Do What You Can, Where You Are, With What You Have." Link to comment
