Number Of Waypoints Used

I've been unable to tell just how many waypoints I have loaded at any particular time... unless I've used them all up. Any way to check? I forgot to mention that I have a 60cs. This should have been in that section.

If you have a 60C/S and are worried about maxing out your 1,000 waypoint limit, then here's a technique which might save some time:

 

Download your waypoints into the new Beta Version of MapSource. Save the file as a .TXT file. Then open Microsoft Excel and select DATA | Get External Data | Import Text File and then navigate to the file and open it.

 

The spreadsheet will show the numbers to the left. You'll have to factor in the 5 extra lines involved with the file formatting at the top of the file.

If you can download your waypoints to Mapsource, the number of waypoints will be on the waypoints tab on the left of the screen.

I hope you don't feel that it was for nothing. There are a LOT of great features that have been added in the new Beta version!
