HackAttack
Who out there knows if there is an easy way to delete all your waypoints at once. If this isn't possible, is there a way to delete everything (maps and all) to get the unit back to where it was when I bopught it. Thanks, John ==================================== "Boredom is the state of one's mind" ==================================== Quote Link to comment

+apersson850
Waypoints can also be deleted by symbol. Doesn't solve your problem, but is very handy if you create a set of waypoints for some temporary task. Just search any waypoint, then go to the extra menu and select Delete by symbol. Step 2 is not needed at all. Just go to the Trip Computer page from the main menu. Select Reset, then click Select All, then Apply. Then click OK on the confirmation screen, and everything will be cleared out. Note that this won't clear maps. There's never a reason to clear the maps. Map memory is reserved strictly for maps. Clearing it out won't let you store more waypoints or tracks. And map memory is automatically cleared prior to the upload of new maps. It is possible to force a hard reset back to factory settings - but it should only be done as a last resort. Doing this can cause your unit to become miscalibrated, in certain circumstances.
