+-=RCpeterV=-
My browser is Internet Explorer and when I download waypoints they come thru as ASPX file types and save as HTML docs that don't work with EasyGPS files. I. E. is supposed to be configured to deal with this conversion I'm told. Am I missing something in the setup. Two other PC's that I use don't give me any grief. They happen to be XP pro and mine is that dredded Me that is a little wormed out. Got any pearls, besides a new OS. Peter V. Quote Link to comment
+tirediron
hmmm, that doesn't usually happens in IE. Have you right-clicked on the link and done a "Save target as"? Edit: You have applied all IE updates too? Edited December 5, 2004 by tirediron Quote Link to comment
+snowd
I had this same problem when trying to download .loc files on an xp machine. The problem turned out not to be xp but with a download manager (GetRight) I have that is setup to catch clicks for download links in IE. I resolved the problem by disabling the download manager for click monitoring long enough to get the file from GC then re-enabling it. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment

I'll try to use those ideas. tirediron I have to tell ya that I did, very recently, download updates and had a bigger mess so I uninstalled. I'll try the save as target deal. Thanks.
