+Bob&TheGang Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 I want to go paperless caching. I am a Mac user and I own an G3 iBook running OS X.3. I want to get a PDA that is Mac compatible so I can have the cache pages on it. I likely won't use this PDA for anything else except Geocaching. Since this PDA will only be used for Geocaching, I don't want to spend too much $$$. So what do I need as far as hardware and software to make this happen? Quote
+planetrobert Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 virtually any palm device will work if not all of them Quote
+Wacka Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 I have a Palm m100. I use Cachemate ($8) on the palm and MacCMconvert (free) to take the gpx files and convert them to a form readable on the Palm. It puts them into the Palm desktop program, which sends it to the PDA when hotsynced. I have aver 600 caches on it- the m100 only has 2M memory. Quote
