The Forester Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Oh Gawd. Now nationalist/tribalist strife hits geocaching?! The Tribal Chieftain of the Embra clique has taken up the cudgels on the dark side of Hadrian's Wall. The sassen have nae chance, I tell ye. They aa' doomed, doomed I tell ye. Meanwhile down at Warmington-on-Sea, a warrior can be heard saying "Don't panic! Don't panic! Nobody panic! Don't panic, Mr Wainwaring" and a lugubrious voice can be heard saying "Are you sure that's wise, Sir".
Team Ullium Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Now nationalist/tribalist strife hits geocaching?!The Tribal Chieftain of the Embra clique has taken up the cudgels on the dark side of Hadrian's Wall. Er.... ask yourself what numpty started all this nonsense Forester?? I see myself as British first and Scottish second It could be that the Hokesters see themselves as English first and British second?? Ullium.
Firth of Forth Posted November 30, 2004 Author Posted November 30, 2004 And I don't see myself as British, English or Scottish, although I have lived in all those places, and have several passports.

perth pathfinders Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Several Passports eh FOF, wouldn't brag about that here, who knows what Nefarious activities you are into!! - Is that the Flying Squad at your door?
The Hokesters Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Er.... ask yourself what numpty started all this nonsense Forester?? Hmm that's polite discussion. My point was that several topics collapsed into Scottish bantering which could be described as British bantering if you want to dismiss your national pride but I find that although English people are destined to have their nationality stripped, all around us are able to flag wave happily. Only personal thoughts and I class myself as British until I come across someone who describes themselves as Scottish, Irish or Welsh - then I think it is my right to say I am English. Anyone who can't see that needs some new specs. Si
