Dale Dale~ The Calif Coordinate system is used for all/most calculated property corners, survey points etc. a means of establishing a uniform system to calculate these land survey points. Corpscon is one tool, for only a few coordinates though there is also an on line tool at the NGS website it is: NGS to and from State Plane Coordinates - jlw PS, actually that link is to a program that tells you what zone you are in.
