+The Hokesters
There appear to be so many acronyms associated with the sport that I thought we ought to make a list and some of those of us who are unsure about things we see on logs and on the forums could ask without feeling stupid. I'll start with the ones I know; TN - Took Nothing LN - Left Nothing SL - Signed Log TFTC - Thanks for the Cache (Sometimes T4TC) All of the above can be strung together something like this; TNLNSLTFTC! FTF - First to Find DNF - Did Not Find GC - Geocaching GC.com - obviously G:UK - Geocacheuk.com GAGB - The Geocaching Association of Great Britain No crude ones please Quote Link to comment
JackiePenn
errr GPS ? Global positioning system. Quote Link to comment
+Stuey
I sometimes write TBUGLN or TNLBUG, which is obviously Took Nothing Left BUG and vice-versa. I also do T4TC instead of TFTC. Must be the SMS monster in me trying to get out. Quote Link to comment

+The Hokesters
GPSr = GPS Reciever I was thinking of specifically GCing ones but for the record; LMAO = Laugh my a*se off (can have an F added in various places but that would break the crude rule) ROFL = Rolls on floor laughing More than these should stay out of this thread please Edited November 27, 2004 by The Hokesters Quote Link to comment

+Team Ullium
“Hullawrerr, fair midden!” Stanley Baxter reached great heights of popularity with his Parliamo Glasgow, a teach-yersel-Glesga language programme I am doing my best to search for this video for the sake of our southern cachers should they ever travel north of the border to my fair city.....this video would make an excellent Christmas present and would be absolutely invaluable in making the visitor understood should he or she be brave enough to go after any of my (soon to be placed) caches This video explains the subtle nuances of interpretation between common Glasgow adjectives such as 'Minging'...'Mawket'....and 'Chippet'....all of which might easily be used in logging the said caches !!
