+Seth!
I seem to recall hearing of a device that transmits an artificial GPS signal which would fool a GPSr (indoors) into thinking it was actually somewhere outside. Does anyone have any details about this or related web links? Thanks, Seth! Quote Link to comment

Neo_Geo
...or maybe a Re-Radiating Antenna? Quote Link to comment
peter
The term you want to look for is GPS "pseudolite" and these are very different devices from re-radiating antennas. An array of pseudolites actually mimics the GPS constellation and gives you the ability to locate yourself inside a building. In contrast, a re-radiating antenna will let you receive GPS signals indoors but will always give your position as if you were at the location of the antenna rather than your actual location within the building. +EraSeek
I posted an article on this sometime back. About a year ago. It was in "GPS WORLD" magazine. Think the article was intitled "Indoor GPS" Quote Link to comment
