Okay, but if you use paypal through the GC store and just order TBs the shipping is free..  So I would assume that free is cheaper than the geocachestore charges, right?

You would think free shipping is better, but after taking another look I have to wonder.

One TB from the geocachestore.com is $4.25 + .43 shipping for a total of $4.68

One TB from the geocaching.com site is $5.99 with free shipping.

Edited to add:

8 TB's from the geocachestore.com is $34 + 3.40 shipping for a total of $37.40

8 TB's from the geocaching.com site is $34 with free shipping.

I was just looking to get one or two TB's for my son.

This is what the checkout looked like as well.

1.05 per item? Yup. I updated the quantity, and it updated the shipping. Each one costs 1.05 to ship.

Whew...

So, where did you get these prices from?

Where is the option for paying through paypal? We looked at getting some cache labels through the Groundspeak store, but didn't want to pay the $5.66 UPS shipping for a couple of labels. There was no place that we saw to pay via paypal or to get cheaper of free shipping.

I never could find the paypal free shipping. I just took fly46 word for it.

Even if it was free shipping it's still cheaper to order from geocachestore.com if you only want one or two TB's.

If you mean my price from my order I ordered from Geocachestore.com not geocaching.com.

If anyone is interested I did end up getting the TB's from geocachestore.com

They are not the fastest shippers in the world, but they are cheap on shipping.

Cheap shipping is what I was looking for. <_<

If I remember right it took 2-3 weeks for me to get them.

I will order more TB's from them again.

Still don't see how they are cheaper

They charge 5.25 each plus 1.05 EACH for shipping.

GC.com is 5.99 with free shipping... total is .31 less from GC.com

Read everything again.

Order some from each site.

Then maybe you will understand.

Have you taken the time to re-visit the site? Their travelbug tags are now $5.25, not $4.25. Especially if you order in bulk, which most of us travelbug freaks do.
