November 29 by -{LoS}-Xile (725 found) Almost gave up and then Poof! there it was... TFTC! [view this log on a separate page] This milestone came on ISQ #112 "Poor HOuse" by Team Shydog. Since Xile doesn't have 200 finds, he is not eligible for the Tom Kelly 2006 Hummer II grand prize, but he does get the second prize: A cammoed 35mm film can, complete with ballast and logsheet, ready to be hidden!! And Team Shydog get's the hiders prize, a 2005 SIXDOGTEAM GEOCOIN. Quote Link to comment

+dougsmiley
The DNR has a great webpage for indiana state parks here: http://www.in.gov/dnr/maps/propertymaps.html It has maps of all of them in PDF format. If you save these maps, you can open them in adobe acrobat and add a "comment" to where the cache is (Easy by comparing map to google satillite imagery). Then, if you print the pdf with the "print with comments summary" option in the file menu, it will mark the caches and show a name/description on a different page or on the same page shrunk. It's really cool, check it out. Helps you take the right trail, and stay on the trail longer. Works great at summit lake, where i'm plotting them. Just use the lake lines and google sat. images and I have a pretty acurate location on the park map. Edited December 4, 2005 by dougsmiley Quote Link to comment

Could the leaders of these groups weigh in on this? Speaking for CINCO, anybody who wants to be a member may simply be a member just by saying so. Furthermore, anyone who would like an official CINCO office may have one by simply requesting one, and this is only to add the office to our official list. Attendence is voluntary, but the benefits of membership are best realised through showing up. Quote Link to comment

+Car54
Does this mean the issue of secession has been revived, and the "south has risen again"? Well, I admit to a bit of confusion. Regional groups are a great way to meet local cachers and it's certainly easier to attend/host events when they're closer to home. But I've noticed a few things where the lines seem a bit blurry, such as the thread about an IndiGo geocoin which seems to imply it will be THE Indiana coin for next year or referring to the spring picnic (to be held up nawth ) as the IndiGo spring picnic. Just my $.02 worth, Mrs. Car54 Quote Link to comment
