Patrick has once again tried to be the center of attention by trying to be our cache dog of the week at our new cache A Doggone Good Cache!.  Because Zoe-dog thinks he's really cute (and because he has more finds than us!) we allowed it, but the real cache dog is Annie the Newf whose daddy was the FTF.

I want some dog socks!!

 

Actually Zoe-Dog wouldn't think I'm cute if she could see me now. Lead Dog took me to the Vet today and they did a frontal lobotomy or something to me and now I look like Frankenstein's Monster. I've got a big gash in the top of my head and seven stainless staples in my skull -- at least no electrodes in my neck!!

Oh poor Patrick , I do hope you are feeling better soon !

The three ISQ-Michigan caches have been added to the ISQ bookmarks. They're currently in Century 4 (#301-#400), but that's almost full and will be moved to the next century unless the bookmark lists allow over 100 soon.

Legal but not advisable. ... Think about it. Night cachers. Strange cachers. Caching field trips with carloads of kids... just think about it.

 

You can always make it an event if you have teh space/ time/ $$$/ etc.

I hid my first cache on the back side of my fence in my backyard which is also accessible via a church parking lot. I made it clear in my description that one did not need to go over or through any fences to get to the cache to keep people off my and my neighbors yards.

 

It's still on my property, but nobody crosses into my yard.

 

If done properly with a good description, I don't see a problem with it. If you don't want cachers there after dark, just say so in your description. Most people I'm sure will respect that.

I would love to do one at my place, but my wife and I rent, so it might not be the best of ideas. Nevertheless, such a cache is still of interest to me.

Seeing the names on this list always amazes me. Just take a look at how many of these people (take a close look at the top 10) are driving from 100-300 miles away to make an assault on the ISQ. Keep in mind that just month or two ago gas prices were hovering around $3 a gallon. You people are insane (in a wonderful way)!

 

It was also great to see they guys from Ohio coming over to find these. Dliming from Cincinnati and BJORN74 from Columbus were two names that filled up my mailbox with find logs recently.

One placed here in South Bend comes to mind that I was very reluctant to do. Personally, I don't care for these types of caches unless there is absolutely no risk of ending up on the neighbor's property by mistake.

Mr. TSP, I know that same cache, and I haven't done it. I just don't feel comfortable going there. I don't have any plans to seek this one out.
