+canadazuuk
http://www.vigps.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 Check out the new GPS contests. The Geographical area is getting quite large now - with waypoints to visit in upwards of 8-10 US States and Canadian Provinces. I may from time to time be interested in assisting other geocachers with some of these challenges. Please e-mail me for more info. Edited November 16, 2004 by canadazuuk Quote Link to comment
+mtn-man
#2) We've buried a steel bar with a GPS tag on it at Kind of a bummer. Probably not good that it is buried like this. Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
Hence why the caches are on a private site now, at least the major 'contest style'. I have no idea myself what the buried bars are like to find, but I can tell you from reading stories about 'moonbombs' on beaches, that digging in 4-5 feet of water on a sandy shorline must be a blast. ju66l3r
It sounds more like an end of the bar is buried (to make it stand up straight). Quote Link to comment
