Have you ever read a description and find a little history in it? Like this one;

Can't find any trace of the old RR or anything today...

 

Henry Ford owned lots of land here in the UP of Michigan. This is where the got the wood to build thier cars back in the old days. They had a plant in Kingsford. THey also made gliders there for use in WWII. They left such a mess behind they have been trying to clean it up for years at the old plant. Cresote etc from old kilns etc.
