2202
Down here in Murder Alley, that is Oxford, (although I have not asked) I am pretty sure that one of the Philimores Chester caches would have been uneathed by the boys in blue investigating a murder in the park....Grandpont.... that it was located in. I wonder, 1. What they thought and 2. Any other occasions when then boys in blue have discovered a cache when looking for clues? Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
"I was involved in a Police finger-tip search once, but I didn't find any." After what happened to me in London caching last month, don't talk to me about Police and caches... SP (not making light of murder) Quote Link to comment
Papakas
Why do the Police always go for a finger-tip search? Surely it's easier to search for the whole body? Or do murderers cut off their victims finger tips to make identification more difficult? Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
The trick is to remove the hands, feet and teeth, plus any obvious identifying marks such as tattoos. Err. I hear. SP Way off topic, and way too grizzly. Sorry folks. Can someone give Tony (2202) a sensible answer please? Ta Quote Link to comment
wildlifewriter
(snip) Can someone give Tony (2202) a sensible answer please? Ta Clearly, since investigating a murder is more important than geocaching, they'd probably have thought: "This isn't a clue, it's only another one of those b_____y geocaches" ..and moved on. That would be the sensible answer. Quote Link to comment

BountyHunter1
Hi I think that alot of the police force are secret geocachers that dont want anyone to know and some of the caches maybe a little to difficult for them to find. So if you cant find a cache and you don't want to cheat and look at the spoiler you either go away and come back another day. ( This would be very difficult for most policemen due to the amout of paper work they have to do ) The only other alternative is BRING SOME FRIENDS, hence you see 200 bobbys on there hands and knees supposedly looking for clues to a crime when we all know there looking for an elusive cache. Problem solved. Cheers Bountyhunter1 Quote Link to comment
Beds Clangers
Hang on a minute, the police are far to busy to go caching Like stopping me on the M25 the other day for driving while using my mobile phone Fair cop, but one minor problem, I'd left my mobile phone at home that day. Reply from the "nice" policeman was, "we saw you doing something with your ear". I almost replied, err scratching it!! After a few blank exchanges and a few "are you sure you don't have a mobile phone questions, I was sent on my way. Why don't they do something useful, like feeding the ducks. nobby.nobbs
even most of the police don't like traffic cops! best way to hide body that i ever heard of, cut it into little bits and feed to pigs. i'm not a psycho i'm ex-copper. Quote Link to comment
McDeHack
I like the police as long as they leave me alone. If you want to keep the police away from you.. Phone them and don't wait for them to arrive because they won't. The best way to hide a body is in a grave in a grave yard... Quote Link to comment
