+LKN4FUN Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 You asked for new ideas...I have one for you. On the "map it" page you can hit "identify" and get a list of caches, how about on this page you put the boxes to check for downloading more than one cache at a time. I think that convienience on this page would be much better. Just a thought. Also I read another post about getting caches off a coridor, say I-5 Washington. Funny you read my mind. I was just on the website looking for just that. I was thinking more of rest stop caches along I-5. I understand this is costly and difficult, but it would be great!!!
Jeremy Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 This has been requested and is at the top of the feature list (for downloading a LOC file). GPX files are not planned but we are discussing caches along a route in a topic pinned to the top of the forum.
+Peconic Bay Sailors Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I'd also like to see a feature for a particular major route... i.e. the NY Thruway...
+as77 Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Have you thought about offering other file formats besides .loc, perhaps using gpsbabel on the server side as a converter? E.g. the Hungarian geocaching website offers 16 different file formats for download, including Garmin Mapsource, OziExplorer, etc.
