+Nellies Knackers
I was thinking of including a £1 lucky dip lottery ticket in my next cache as a FTF incentive/prize/trade item, would this be appropriate or an absolute sin punishable by burning at the stake? Opinions please. Quote Link to comment
+John NW
Seems a good idea to us. It would be a very good idea if it was a winning one - a several million pounds worth of first to find prize might even get you back to collect it before anyone else Quote Link to comment
Lactodorum
No problem at all as long as the reviewer gets 10% of the prize Quote Link to comment
+steviep
liked your reply lactodorum that tickled me Quote Link to comment
+MarcB
Good idea... but what if it was a winning ticket! MarcB Quote Link to comment
+Nellies Knackers
Well if it's a winning ticket you sort of....errr....Win! Quote Link to comment
+dysdera
And if it was a winning ticket and it had'nt yet been recovered by the FTF you wouldnt be tempted to return to your cache and recover said ticket would you, as that would be very unsporting Quote Link to comment
+rutson
What about a scratchcard then, you would never know! Quote Link to comment
+Nellies Knackers
Thats the whole point of a lucky dip! If it was one I knew to be a big winner I'd be up there like a shot!!! Being sporting doesn't compare to being rich!!!! I always get lucky dips as if I had a set of regular numbers you know full well I'd forget a ticket the week they came up! How depressing would that be... Anyway, when are they going to bring out a scratchcard called "lose a pound" Quote Link to comment
Deego
what about the age limit. if a 15 year old finds it . is it legal ?? I don't have a problem with it though. Quote Link to comment
+Kitty Hawk
Hedge - buy two lottery tickets the same and leave one in the cache. Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
As I understand it, it's illegal for a 15 year old to buy a lotto ticket or a scratch card, but they can be given one as a gift. find it in the street or whatever. It's the purchase which is the no-no. As a cache item I think it's just dandy SP Quote Link to comment
+milvus-milvus
Well, we found exactly this (2 instant scratch cards) as a FTF prize recently. And I was going to include a link to show you exactly where - but I can't find any trace of it! Must be senility setting in.... Quote Link to comment
+The Hokesters
Good idea - go for it. Si... P.S. Mind if I borrow the idea too? Quote Link to comment

+G Force
We have left a scratchcard in a couple of ours but the FTF reported they did not win. Quote Link to comment
+dysdera
I went to a cache called decaying hospital the return the other day and the FTF prize was a lottery ticket (scratchcard) it didnt win though, but if it had I would certainly have split the winnings with the cache placers anything else wouldnt have been fair Quote Link to comment
