+Milbank
I like searching and reading just about anything that is gps related. It would be great if the geocaching forums had a section were anything gps related could posted, not just geocaching related items. Geocaching is great fun, but there are so many other uses for a gps too. It would be great to have a part of the forum were we could talk about other gps subjects. What are your thoughts on this? +Milbank
Try GPS Units and Software or the Members Only OT forum. Thorin At the top of the " GPS Units and Software" is say: Geocaching Related Topics. I was thinking of a place to put post that were not geocaching related, but yet gps related. I understand that the forums are for the geocaching website, but being that we all (most all) use a gps for the game there maybe some interest in other gps topics. and the "Members Only OT forum" well..... Yeah, but underneath the "GPS Units and Software" it does say, GPS Units and Software Any and all discussions about GPS units. Here you can talk GPS, GPS Units, and those miraculous satellites that give our game life. Forum Led by: Hemlock Don't see where it has to be exclusively geocaching related. Link to comment
Jeremy
GPS Units and Software is the correct forum for "Anything GPS." Link to comment
+Milbank
GPS Units and Software is the correct forum for "Anything GPS." Ok, but it seems like when I Post questions there the replies are often geocaching related. Even if the question was not met to be only geocaching related.... thorin
You could preface your questions with a blurb stating that you were hoping for generic answers however you shouldn't be surprised to get Geocaching related answers on a Geocaching site. Would you be surprised if you went to a Sony'centric site and posted a question about camcorders and got a Sony'centric answer? Would you expect lots of answers about Phillips, JVC, etc... ? +Milbank
Is that one of those newsgroups I read about in history class? -------------------------------- Please don't take my post in the wrong way. As we all know the forums here at Groundspeak are very good. I'm just looking to expand my knowledge on the current gps technology. Edited November 8, 2004 by Milbank Link to comment
