+Joe and Ed*
Got a travel bug that one of the members has had since July. Polite messages have not helped get it back in circulation. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get someone to "play by the rules", so to speak? I am at a loss ... hate to remove it from circulation permanently ... Quote Link to comment
+ZackJones
In word "wait" About the only other possiblity is to post a note in the appropriate regional forum asking if anyone there knew of the person and could contact him/her on your behalf. I tried that for a guy who is holding two of my TBs but it didn't seem to help much Zack Quote Link to comment
WH
I once had a TB held hostage for a while. I not only posted a thread in the regional forums, but I also posted several notes on caches in the area where the TB nappers lived. Less than a week later, my bug was released. Quote Link to comment
+fly46
Interestingly enough, I just sent a message to a cacher that had a bug on my watchlist. He had kept it since january 4. Never responded to me or the bug owner, but about a week after my email, he went and placed it in a cache to get it back into circulation. Quote Link to comment
