+4leafclover
Bob Evans 40°16.2852 -83°4.2138 map I am trying to get a yahoo map for this. We plan to meet at 8 a.m., have a quick breakfast, arrange driving, and get on the road no later than 9:30. I would recommend a stash of trail eats and drinks, as other than qick restroom breaks, I don't think we'll stop for another meal until after dark. Although... it will get dark fairly early, so we may try to do some dark caches, if we think we can. We'll leave that up to the group. As for t-shirts, if you'd like to look as stylish as geaugagarmin and myself, I will try to get the link posted in a public area of COG. If you could, please access it from the COG site, as it brings in a bit of money for the COG group. I personally, owe a huge thanks to Bjorn74 (many suggestions for this "event", actually creating the shirts, and a lot of overall support); Coaster-COG for help in planning and attempting to get it on Gc.com, Mr. 0 for the very helpful suggestions for the cache list. And GG for the idea for the shirts, and her effort supporting the event. And many thanks to SherwoodForest for helping me withe the map. Any other suggestions are highly encouraged. We would also like to get a good count of who to expect, so that we don't leave without anyone. Most likely, some of us will have FRS on channel 2, and I will be glad to provide my cell phone number (privately, of course...). +4leafclover
Just for an explanation...we can't call this an "event" or get it posted...it's basically a bunch of us girls who want to get together, not for a "numbers" run...but because in this cache the "cacher's wife" is actually a "cacher's husband", and because for many of us...our regular caching companions may be other men. we just wanted a "girls' day out". Feel free to contact me if you'd be interested. My email is in my profile. Quote Link to comment
