ahreno
It seems that all these programs take different formats... like i'm trying to enter a lat / lon into mapopolis but it needs to be in a different format than what i'm given... is there any (preferably free) apps that will take a given format of lat/lon and convert to something else? +as77
Come on, there are two Dutch words in the program, the rest is international. Bereken means Calculate, what else do you need to know? Quote Link to comment
ahreno
not sure... i tried playing with it... couldn't get it to accept a "." but i'm sure it was user error... i'll try again later... the thing is, i don't know what all the abbreviations are of the different formats etc... and i don't expect you to explain them to me either... i'll get it worked through... thanks for the link! +as77
Apparently it uses a comma instead of a dot for the decimal point. Quote Link to comment
+NightPilot
Mapopolis uses the same format as geocaching.com, but it puts a decimal point between the degrees and minutes. Thus 29 30.500 becomes 29.30.500 in Mapopolis. It's not intuitive, it's not standard, but that's the way Mapopolis does it. Quote Link to comment
