+ktagg
Im new and am googy eyed looking through threads. I just activated a geocoin. Do I need to attach something? Do I just drop it in a cache and thats it? Thats what Im thinking. But Id like to do it right. Do they tend to dissapear? I havent seen many, thats why I started one. Ciao ktagg Quote Link to comment
+dhenninger
No need to attach anything. They usually just travel alone or with a note about their goal. I have only found a few, but only kept ones that I have bought. Dave Quote Link to comment
+Planet
Nope, the tracking number is on the coin. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
If you want to increase the odds your coin will travel and not become part of a collection yes you need to attach something. Drill a nice big hole in it and attach an instruction card on how to log it and any goals you might have for it. But you don't need to do that. It just skews the odds a bit in your favor. +Eartha
Some people might consider drilling a hole in a coin as devaluing the coin. It's not real money, but they could become collector's item. Attach a note and a ziplock bag if you feel it must have a goal with it. But if it's your coin, you can do as you wish. Quote Link to comment
