+Beds Clangers
The Beds Clanger(s) will be there and there is only one set of us, but by the sound of it everyone might be seeing double by the end of the night. So the other "viurtual" Beds Clangers may show up after all Have lost the actual place your meeting can someone confirm Nick Quote Link to comment

Jumbo Village
OK, the venue will be the 16th Century Pub, so you'll be getting two free caches just for turning up! Time will be about 7.00, but I'm going to put this all in an event Cache on Monday, and I'll let everyone know! Quote Link to comment
+Learned Gerbil
If you bought your GPS from Dixons, then we need to buy you a drink! Actually, I bought mine from a secondhand book stall at a jumble sale. Quote Link to comment
+tomcatuk
I noticed my name is on the list.... being a newcomer to the Geocaching experience I would love to come but I work nights I'm afraid so would not be able to get there... Quote Link to comment
Jumbo Village
Could somebody e-mail me (i.e. Please don't put it in this thread!) the actual name for the 16th Century Pub please! I won't get a chance to check in the next week (probably), and I want to set up this Geocache event. I will probably put the pub name in the encrypted hints. What do people think about this? It would be terrible if people didn't turn up because they got lost wouldn't it?! Quote Link to comment

I won't get a chance to check in the next week (probably), and I want to set up this Geocache event. I thought someone (lordelph?) was going to book out the upstairs room, so he must know the name. As for putting the name in a clue.... I agree it would be a shame for someone to travel, get really close, but miss out at the last hurdle. The cache description does make it look tricky. +lordelph
I'll message richard and let him know the details. If the object of the exercise is to compare equipment - count me out. I want to get to know people, not browse a Dixons catalogue. ....and my surname is Dixon too. I was being lighthearted there, but how about if you catch me even mentioning my GPSr, I'll buy you a pint ;-) Quote Link to comment
+Belplasca
Would it be better if those of us that have never found the 16th Century Pub send you an e-mail, which you can reply to with a mobile phone number in case we really can't locate the cache - or even the number of the pub (they should know its name! :-) ). That way the 16th Century Pub cache can't get compromise - even in another cache listing... Bob Aldridge Quote Link to comment
Jumbo Village
Right, the Geocache London event has been registered. You can access it HERE. I'll be e-mailing everyone on this thread too, and can you also e-mail anyone you think might be interested. Please be sure to register via the link on the page too. I can then keep the pub up to speed! Thanks Richard Quote Link to comment
