+Quoddy
CONGRATULATIONS to Team DEMP on reaching #400 at jonboy's four star "Break dem Bones". I had the pleasure of being with David when he reached the milestone today while doing that great loop. Well done! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...Q4&Submit6=Find Quote Link to comment
+fosterbass
Well done gang! I've only met David and Elizabeth, but if M and P are fun to cache with, then it's no surprise that you reached this milestone as quickly as you did! Quote Link to comment

+Team DEMP
Thank you everyone. Thanks to the folks that placed the caches we have gone after. Thanks to the other cachers that have gone on hikes with us. Thanks to those that have provided general information on caching and hiking. Thanks to those that have made my kids, wife and I feel comfortable when we all get together. I was just putzing around and with GSAK it makes it easy to export info and play in Excel. The following are some stats related to our current 403 cache finds. +Team DEMP
What a way to hit a milestone on a Jonboy loop! Bravo! Where's the track log? Ok, here's the track log (minus the non-initial stages for one which is a multi) and the vertical profile. The view at Break Dem Bones was spectacular and the peak of the climb. Quote Link to comment
avroair
So when are you guiding us on the loop? Quote Link to comment
+Team DEMP
So when are you guiding us on the loop? I'd definitely go on the loop again. It was almost exactly 7 miles. I also need to do the others in the area too like Trepidation, Doodletown, etc. I think there's 6 around Break Dem Bones that are within 1 mi (as the crow flies). Also, for some other loops, I did the following 2 loops the day before which came out to be 15.2 miles. I did 4 around Tiorati which was 6.5 miles and then I drove to Anthony Wayne and did all of BigBill6's caches there which was pretty flat (thank you Bill!) but then decided to cross the PIP (yes, you have 2 run across the PIP along the AT, but you can sign an AT log book in the woods between the North and Southbound lands) and do one that was all by itself. I hiked the AT up/down Black mountain to the cache and then back up/down Black Mountain back to Anthony Wayne. The BigBill/The Spanish Mine- or Captain Kidd's Treasure cache loop was 8.71 mi of which the hike up/down and then back up/down Black Mountain was a workout. Here's some track logs and vertical profiles for the above (since you were going to ask anyway ). Tiorati loop with the only difficult climb being the Bradley Mine cache as you can see in the vertical profile. The mine itself is pretty huge from what you can see . Anthony Wayne Loop and profile. You can see the up/down then back up/down Black Mountain going to the Spanish Mine cache. Quote Link to comment
