Worf's Pack Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I went to an Oklahoma City Geocachers meeting today. Found out there is an Travel Bug Graveyard where owners of passed away bugs can put the dearly departed to rest: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...32-94e7818cbaa8 The cache location is in Kansas. I never heared of this before? Quote
Harrald Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 That cache is located in the Atlantic ocean. Off the coast of Africa. Quote
Worf's Pack Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 Your right about the location Harrold. But to find the cache I had to scan through about 44 pages of Kansas Caches. That Kansas was over 44 pages of caches is also pretty amazing Quote
avroair Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I actually found out about the graveyard BEFORE I even knew about travel bugs. My geocaching mentor lost a t-bug and showed me the cache you put them in. I had never even seen a t-bug by then!!! Quote
IV_Warrior Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 But now that owners can move their bugs to an "unknown location" there really isn't any need to mess with their mileage or histories by moving them to any of the multiple "graveyards" in existance. Quote
