HI,

Just got a 60C, woo hoo. Where is the best place to buy City Select V6?

I found TOPO for about $90, that does not seem too bad, but am waiting to purchase.

All the local stores want to sell me Metroguide, been kinda hard explaining to sales people it won't work on the 60C.

Thanks,

Matt Anderson

I just placed my order with gps4fun.com. They're a government contractor, have a straight forward website, the company is ran by a woman, they have clearly posted policies, and they're only one state to the west of me so I can save on shipping charges and tax. $127 shipped seemed like a good price to me. I'll let you guys know how things work out. ;)

It looks like the OP has found a solution, but for the benefit of anyone that actually searches forums before posting next time (yes, I really believe such people exist...) let me toss in a variation.

The auto navigator kit contains CS5 (Garmin will update to CS6 for no cost, not even shipping) plus auto mount kit, bean bag mount, and a 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter for not a lot more than CS5 alone. So if you have CS5 and at leat one other item on that list in your future, the kit can save you some money.

TigerGPS has it for $159 (purchase through the linky link on http://www.GPSBabel.org and that project gets a minor kickback) http://www.getfeetwet.com has it for $149, incl. shipping. (They'll remove the CS5 and put in CS6 when they have them in stock.) I saw it somewhere for $139 but with shipping it cost about $149 anyway.

Turns out GPS4FUN didn't even have CS6 in stock when I called at noon today to check on my order, so I promptly told them to cancel my order! I ended up ordering the auto kit the above user mentioned from getfeetwet.com. With UPS Second Day Air to Florida it only came to $162.58 (thats $13.58 for 2 day air completely across the US)! Not to mention the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was extremely accommodating. I had originally only ordered the software and then decided to call back 5mins later and get the full auto package and he didn't complain once. So far, so good! ;)

Oh, and just an FYI.. the gentleman at getfeetwet confirmed that they do have CS6 in stock and thats what I'll be receiving with my package! <_<
