+Crew 153
Is it possible to enter the HTML code to put a counter in the Cache page description so that the number of hits can be seen? Or does this take up too much on the server? Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
I've seen it done. Normally the counter links to another site. Quote Link to comment
+SixDogTeam
Yes, I've got counters on some of my cache pages. Another thing you can do is make the cache "members only" then you get a log of who visits your cache, how often and when.... Quote Link to comment

Or does this take up too much on the server? The GC servers just deliver the html code to your browser. It's up to your browser to request the the counter image from where ever it's hosted. So it's not really going to impact the GC server's, but your page may load a little slower. Quote Link to comment
+Chillibusher
I put counters on all my cache pages. It is amazing to see how many times they get looked at. The one that I use is at Keen People.Com. I think if you use this link, it is under free cache ratings. You will have to become a memeber to access this tool and it is free. It also allows your caches to be rated by the users. It is interesting to see what people think of your hide. Quote Link to comment

+Crew 153
Thanks for all the help. I have added the counter to my cache page "THE WATERING HOLES" using the details from Keenpeople. Will see how it goes. Of course it wont pick up anyone who just downloads using PQs. This is my first hide so hope it goes well. Quote Link to comment
