Awsome Ev
I was just wonderin. I take the girls that I babysit for out cachin. But up until yesterday they didn't have an account. they couldn't think of anything. I know they have found these caches we just never logged thier name in any of the log books b/c they didn't have one. but they were there. I talk about them in my logs online. Do you think that cache owners would frown upon me going back and helping them log those caches with a new account.??? Link to comment
Stunod
No, not a problem at all. You can back date the logs to the original find date, and you might mention that they were found "with Awsome Ev" Edited October 4, 2004 by Stunod Link to comment
Robespierre
My last daughter goes cachin' rarely, even owns one, but she doesn't care to log. She could do the same, some day, by checking my logs where she is mentioned and catching up her account, entering the appropriate dates. Link to comment
The Cheeseheads
I'll second Stunod. I've actually seen this frequently around here as former teams of cachers decided to split their team account into separate accounts and the new one goes back to log all the caches they found with the team. Again, just be sure to select the correct date for the log, even it it was months or years ago, and mention what you're doing so it doesn't look strange to an unfamiliar cache owner. Just copy and paste a note into each log saying something like "Logging all the caches I found with XXX under my own, new account." Link to comment
SixDogTeam
Ev, Patrick and I really appreciate your logs on our caches, because they are so amusing! We'd be honored to have you log the kids finds on our caches, just make sure the date on your log is the date actually found. Cache on! Link to comment
