RenoRat
A Garmin 12XL has been my trusted companion for many treks into the Nevada desert over more years than I want to say.. [but a hint: I bought it brand new when they first came out]. I may update one day, but I'm not in any real hurry. Rat Quote Link to comment
+Kabz Krewe
After being extremely disappointed with the inaccuracy of our Garmin eTrex (the basic eTrex), Santa brought us a new Vista C. Much better! No more jumping around 100 feet at a time like the old eTrex. I'm not too sure how anyone can recommend the eTrex to a new geocacher...what a piece of junk. We're very pleased with the Vista... Quote Link to comment

+Texas Shadow
My first was a Garmin 45XL which I upgraded to a III+ and I just got my 76CS today (Its GREAT!) . I have also had a Delorme earthmate ( I fried it with the wrong power cord ) and a blue logger, but I sent the blue logger back and bought a CFQue 1620(Which is great also!) . Quote Link to comment
+Ovair
eTrex Legend. 7 months as of this writing. Prior to that I had only used a PLGR. The Legend is much better and acquires its position much faster than the PLGR. I love it. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Legend (Basic, yet used most for geocaching) Vista (Old and crotchety, but knows what it takes to get the job done right) 76cs (Still being pampered and used mainly for traveling, but that’ll change come winter with that external antenna) Just got the GPS V as a gift. Can't they ask first!? Edited January 4, 2005 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment

Each is useful for an individual specific purpose, and they all get used 2 to 4 times a week. The 60CS is the oldest of the lot...I think I've had it for just over a year. Regards.
