crabtrees
Looking to buy a Garmin 60C. It is listed for $359 at a place called GPS Now. It is a division of 4 r books. Anybody have information on this site--price seems awfully good for new stuff. Thanks, Bill in Nor Cal Quote Link to comment
LordSaw
I bought my 76C from them in June and was extremely pleased with the service. They even called to confirm the order as I had given a shipping address that was different from the billing address and they wanted to verify that is wasn't a case of Identity Theft. I will continue to use them as the need arrises. Cache Well Quote Link to comment
Team DEMP
I bought my GPS V from them about 2 years ago. Great pre-sales support and they provided me with everything I needed since for the mail-in rebate that became active the day I ordered. I'd buy from them again. Quote Link to comment
TheOfficeMaven
I've bought five different GPS units from them over the years (including accessories and mapping software) and I've been happy with every single purchase. They have great prices and they have an excellent deal on FedEx second day air shipping (not to mention that there's no tax if you don't live in their home state). I'd recommend them highly! +Puttz
I bought my 76CS three weeks ago and got great service. When the GPSr arrived the lanyard was missing. They contacted Garmin and It was in my hands in less than a week. They even answered my emails on the weekend. I will do business with them again. Quote Link to comment
Sputnik 57
I got mine for $349 at Comp-U-Plus and was very happy with their service (but compare tax, if applicable and shipping costs). I got my City Select and Topo maps at GPS now, and would certainly do business with them again. Quote Link to comment
Imajika
Looking to buy a Garmin 60C. It is listed for $359 at a place called GPS Now. It is a division of 4 r books. Anybody have information on this site--price seems awfully good for new stuff. Thanks, Bill in Nor Cal THEY ARE GREAT! I got my 60cs through them and some software. They had my new GPS at my doorstep the next day via FedEx. Also, just to show how great their customer service is: I used my credit card to order my GPS. The billing address for my credit card is my PO Box but I wanted the GPS shipped to my house...so the billing and shipping address were not the same. An hour after I completed my online purchase, they called me. They said they always call people when the billing/shipping address is not the same in an effort to prevent credit card fraud. I was very pleased that they did this. I order stuff online all the time and no company has ever done that before. They really are a great company and I highly recommend them! The GPS I ordered and the software arrived in brand new, unopened Garmin packaging. It's not refurb stuff. Edited September 12, 2004 by Imajika Quote Link to comment
drag-racer
I have bought a couple of 4x4 books from them in the past and they always had great service. They were (very close to) the cheapest I found when I was looking to buy a 76CS so I ordered from them. I think the unit arrived in about two days. Amazing! I would highly recommend them!!!
