+WeightMan
The closest geocache to that location is 1.5 miles away. It is located at Lake Afton. I would doubt that this is that cache. You might try letterboxing.com and see if they can locate an owner. Link to comment

+Subterranean
...and there was this 316.393.0242 not sure what it is. It looks like 316 is an area code for Wichita, Kansas, so that's probably the owner's phone number. (I'm assuming it was found in Kansas, since that seems to be where you're from.) I wouldn't blame you, though, if you didn't feel comfortable calling some strange phone number that you found in a box in a stream. If you search letterboxing.org for letterboxes using the keyword "Pawnee," there are two that are in Kansas. Maybe that'll help. Edited September 9, 2004 by subterranean Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
I think its a letter box and there was this 316.393.0242 not sure what it is. Well, blame the incredibly stupid trend of writing phone numbers to look like IP addresses. If it was written as (316) 393-0242 there wouldn't be much doubt about what it was.
